Who We Are

BCBA SVG, established by Hope & Hope Inc., is a basketball academy located on the campus of St. Vincent Girls’ High School in Kingstown. Founded by Kishon Bishop, former national team member and director of Hope & Hope Inc., the academy exists to bring hope through Christian faith, sports, and education.

Our Mission

We provide weekly basketball training, competitive programs, and family events for youth aspiring to grow in all areas of life. Our goal is to develop the whole person — Spiritually, Physically, and Intellectually.

Partnerships

BCBA SVG has partnered with the St. Vincent Girls’ High, St. Martin Secondary and Thomas Sanders High School, by becoming the official sponsor of their basketball programs. These partnerships allow both parties to serve their purpose of creating well-rounded student-athletes.

Leadership Team

Coach Kendale Thomas, a former member of the St. Vincent & the Grenadines National Men’s basketball team, is the Program Director and Head of Basketball Operations. Coach Thomas, Coach Bernard Billy, Solan Fredrick, Rachael Haynes, Tim Myle (Head of Evangelism) and Ramon Johnson (Head of Academics) make up the staff members of BCBA SVG who assist with the daily delivery of our academy.

Impact & Reach

Currently, BCBA SVG has over sixty members; both male and female athletes who regularly attend weekly training sessions and participate in academy events and represent the academy in national tournaments.

Programs

Every July/August, our team hosts a summer basketball program (Camp Introspect) and partners with visiting mission teams for restoration projects, such as #ProjectHardCourt.
